The International University of Entreprenology is a public non-profit institution of higher learning founded in the United States in 1972. The university is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the World Association of Visioneers and Entreprenologists (USA).
Undergraduate Studies Admissions
To enter an undergraduate program, applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be 21 years of age (ideally) and be employed. If not employed, students must have access to an organizational environment that allows application of the concepts learned in class.
Prior coursework, elective classes, major studies and credits awarded will be considered for academic credit during the admission process. If applicants have had professional training or have served in their military, they may be able to convert previous experience into academic credits.
Undergraduate students can choose to enroll directly in an undergraduate program, following a curriculum that depends on the number of previously earned credits being transferred.
Specific degree programs may have additional admissions requirements.
Graduate Studies Admissions
To be considered for a graduate program, applicants must be employed or have access to an organizational environment that allows application of the concepts learned in class.
In addition, applicants must have an undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited or nationally recognized college or university, or one that is a candidate for accreditation. A comparable degree from a recognized institution outside of the United States is acceptable.
International University of Entreprenology requires graduate applicants to have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 and a minimum of three years of significant work experience.
Specific degree programs offered at certain locations may have additional admissions requirements.
Process: In reviewing applications, the admissions officer takes into consideration all of the applicant's completed academic work, any applicable test scores (e.g. TOEFL or GMAT), evidence of leadership and motivation, letters of recommendation, level of job responsibility and work history, unique talents and the potential to contribute in a peer learning environment.
Applicants are reviewed on their potential for successful performance in graduate studies and their competitiveness within the current applicant pool. An undergraduate degree or equivalent from an accredited institution (regardless of field or major) is required for admission to any graduate degree program of the school.
Admission Procedures: To ensure a place in a program and adequate time to receive an admission decision, it is important to send completed application materials well in advance of the term for which the applicant wishes to register. For the non-traditional student, if work is still in progress to complete a bachelor's degree, the applicant must state specifically what courses are in progress, what must be done to finish and the estimated date of completion. Admission is contingent upon official verification of the bachelor's degree.
The completed application packet must include the following:
1. the application
2. responses to required essay questions
3. a $100 US application fee for domestic applicants or a $125 US application fee for international applicants
4. one official transcript from the registrar of each college or university attended (undergraduate and graduate, if applicable) whether the degree was completed or not. If all college or graduate work has not been completed, transcripts must be sent again when work in progress is completed and the degree posted
5. at least one letter of recommendation (two is preferred); these letters should relate to the applicant's work performance
6. history of full and part-time work experience (resume)
Applicants who have taken the GMAT should submit that test score. (Scores should be from tests taken within the last five years.).
Application Deadlines: Admission decisions are made within 30 days of receiving the completed application packet. Applicants should normally receive notification of acceptance within approximately six to eight weeks. Applicants are urged to file a completed application as early as possible, as the applicant pool often becomes extremely competitive.
Waivers: Certain qualifying requirements may be waived based on prior academic work and/or appropriate business experience. Further information regarding the specifics of the waiver policy may be obtained by directly contacting the admissions office.
